ST. MARY'S HOSPITAL St. Mary's is developing a Senior Services program and you have
the opportunity to play a key role.
We are seeking a BC/BE Geriatrician for this ideal Central Illinois
community. With 16% of the county population designated as elderly,
there is a tremendous need for senior services. You will have
a shared call arrangement plus the autonomy to build a senior
adult practice.
We offer an attractive compensation package, plus no-tail malpractice
coverage. For the qualified candidate who is able to sign early,
you will receive an educational stipend.
With a population of 85,000 Decatur is the county seat as well
as the business and employment center of Macon County. The city
is located along Sangamon River which meets Lake Decatur, a beautiful
recreation spot and site of many homes. Decatur is home to Millikan
University and Richland Community College. Area employers include
Caterpillar, Archer Daniels Midland, and Tate & Lyle.
Decatur takes pride in their variety of cultural and recreational
activities which include an award winning park district, the Scovill
Zoo, indoor sports center, new soccer complex and visual and performing
arts program. It's an easy 2 hour drive to St. Louis and not
much further to Chicago.
