EDEN MEDICAL CENTER Eden Medical Center, a 397-bed hospital, located in Castro Valley,
California, seeks a Neurologist who is fellowship trained in Critical
Care Medicine and Stroke. In this position, you will be the Medical
Director of a six bed Neuro Intensive Care Unit and Medical Director
of the stroke program. You will be responsible for the medical
management of the patients within the unit. The ideal candidate
will possess several years of industry experience.
Position offers a competitive net income guarantee along with
an attractive stipend for the Medical Director Role.
The Sutter East Bay Neuroscience Center, based at Eden Medical
Center provides the most advanced medical and surgical care using
minimally invasive surgical techniques for the treatment of brain
tumors, vascular disorders, and spinal and peripheral nerve problems.
An entire floor is dedicated to the highly specialized care of
patients who have had brain and spinal surgery. The neurosurgical
capabilities include: minimally invasive spine surgeries; minimally
invasive cranial surgeries with navigational technologies; advanced
imaging capabilities (MRI, 3-D CT Scan); advanced bi-plane angiography;
and six private neuro intensive care unit rooms. The Neurosurgeons
are joined by a skilled team of nurses, techs, therapists, and
specialists to create an exceptional healing environment!
Located in Castro Valley, California, the area is just minutes
from all of the San Francisco attractions to include: The Golden
Gate Bridge; Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39; Ghiradelli Square; Alcatraz;
Chinatown and Sausalito. The area is rich in cultural diversity,
recreational activities; educational facilities and world class
sporting events!
It is a one hour drive to the wine country of Napa & Sonoma valleys,
one hour south to the Beaches of Santa Cruz and Monterey.
