SUNY UPSTATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and the
Joslin Diabetes Center at SUNY Upstate Medical University College
of Medicine seeks an additional board certified/board eligible
endocrinologist. The faculty is actively involved in providing
clinical care, teaching and research. Interested candidates should
possess exceptional patient care, clinical research, and teaching
skills and have a commitment to academic endocrinology and medical
student/resident education.

SUNY Upstate endocrinology and diabetes services are provided
at the Joslin Diabetes Center/University Endocrinologists and
Osteoporosis Center at SUNY Upstate Medical University, which
is a complete resource for endocrinology and diabetes care, education
and research. The Joslin Diabetes Center (which has been designated
a Center of Excellence for Diabetes by the NYS Dept. of Health)
offers comprehensive adult and pediatric diabetes and endocrine
services, including nurse educators, dietitians, exercise physiologists,
psychologists, and podiatrists. Also offered are an ADA-recognized
patient education program, a Thyroid Center with ultrasonography
for FNAs and close collaborations with endocrine surgery, cytopathology
and nuclear medicine; a Metabolic Bone Disease Center with an
new DEXA machine, and the services of a dedicated Clinical Research
Unit for the multiple ongoing clinical and translational research
projects.
