MAINE MEDICAL PARTNERS Maine Medical Partners, a physician practice subsidiary of Maine
Medical Center, in conjunction with the Barbara Bush Children's
Hospital at Maine Medical Center has an opening for a full-time
pediatric surgeon due to retirement. An interest in outcomes
research, virtual learning, surgical innovation and trauma would
be advantageous. We offer excellent opportunities to enhance skills
and care for patients as a member of an innovative, dynamic team.
Resident-supported
call and working out of just one hospital, which is attached to
the clinic, allow you a work-life balance. You will have the
opportunity to teach and stay current in all aspects of the field
through post-graduate interaction. With no pediatric surgery
competition in the area, we have an extremely diverse caseload
and there is little you will not see.
Within a 15 mile radius surrounding Maine's largest city, Portland,
you will find it all--from mountains to lakes, city to country,
inland to coast, nature to nightlife. Like San Francisco in its
arts scene, cuisine, history and waterfront. Yet Portland is
also simple in its comforts and industry. The sea tempers Portland's
