ST. LUKE'S PHYSICIAN GROUP, INC. St. Luke's Hospital and Health Network based in Bethlehem/Allentown,
PA, seeks a Section Chief for their Perinatal Services Division.
The department has 3 board certified perinatologists. The preferred
candidate will be board certified and have experience in managing
and leading people. St. Luke's has an ob/gyn residency program
so an academic/teaching interest is mandatory. The division provides
services including genetic counseling, fetal transfusions, fetal
surgery and amniocentesis. They are a GE show site with 5 brand
new Voluson Expert 8 and Voluson Expert 730 ultrasounds. St. Luke's
performs 4500 deliveries a year and has a Level 3b nursery. The
position provides a $450,000 salary, production bonus, comprehensive
benefits, malpractice insurance and relocation expenses. The Bethlehem, PA Lehigh Valley is the 2nd fastest growth area
in the Northeast. It is a beautiful eastern Pennsylvania community
(service area of 1.2 million) and is located one hour north of
Philadelphia and less than 2 hours from New York City. The area
provides numerous cultural, recreational, shopping and educational
amenities but without the high taxes and cost of living of New
York and New Jersey. But you are within an easy drive to Manhattan
