Hanover Hospital This 23-bed ED was recently expanded to 18,300 square feet and was newly equipped to enhance patient flow efficiency, privacy, confidentiality, and patient satisfaction. With an emphasis on maximizing patient flow, each area features patient cardiac monitoring and equipment to handle a cardiac emergency. To improve diagnosis time, a vacuum tube system speeds the transmission of specimens to the laboratory, and a specialized electronic patient tracking system prompts the completion of diagnostic testing.
