An excellent school system is available and offers outstanding academics, athletic and extracurricular activities. The student-to-teacher ratio is 14:1. This low-crime, safe community celebrates the values and lessons of a multi-cultural heritage and offers an outstanding environment in which to raise a family. Two full-time ER physicians are needed to work in a newly-renovated, 24-hour ED which sees approximately 19,000 visits per year. The ED is a Level II trauma center and sees a wide variety of cases; however, head and neck cases are transported to a tertiary center. Physicians and nursing staff are specially trained in emergency medicine. The ER physicians typically develop their own shifts and generally work three shifts one week and four the next. In addition to working a full-time schedule, the facility can offer a flexible staffing model, such as per diem and part-time. The incoming physicians will be employees of the hospital and will be paid on an hourly basis, negotiable based on experience. The hospital will pay a portion of the health insurance for the physician and will pay the full amount of malpractice insurance. Additionally, the candidate will receive six weeks for vacation, CME, sick and holiday time and will provide CME of up to $2,500 per year and relocation assistance. Education loan repayment is paid in six-month increments and is typically spread out over five years.
