Permanent OB/Gyn Position in California [07/16/2008] |

Live and work in a charming community approximately one hour from Sacramento to the east of wine country. Ski resorts and San Francisco are less than two hours away and housing costs are very affordable. An OB/Gyn physician with one to two years of experience is needed for a service area of 150,000. The incoming physician will follow patients in the hospital, including ICU care, and excellent clinical skills are required. The recruited physician will see all age groups. Call is 1:6. The incoming physician will receive a two year agreement and a starting salary of $215,000 plus benefits and up to $8,000 in moving expenses. A first-year bonus of $25,000 will be paid out at $10,000 on start date, $5,000 at 6-month anniversary and $10,000 at 12-month anniversary. An additional $10,000 will be paid at 18-months of employment.
