The medical center is looking to expand their general surgery staff to meet the vibrant growth of the county, which is expected to double within a decade. HCMC has recognized the need for expansion and is being proactive in the anticipated population growth. Current projects include: a new Ambulatory Surgery Center, additional operating rooms and endoscopy suites as well as the expansion of the emergency department.
