EmCare is currently seeking Full-Time Emergency Medicine Physicians to join Satilla Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Department. 

Qualifications:  BP/BC EM, IM, or FP with ED Experience. PGY3 EM Residents Welcome.

Satilla Regional Medical Center is 231-bed facility serving residents in Southeast Georgia. With a total service area population of 155,452 and a strong referral base from 9 surrounding counties, this acute care facility provides care for more than 33,000 emergency patients annually resulting in approximately 4,000 annual admissions to the hospital. This community hospital boasts a large paperless emergency department with the latest technology & supportive medical staff. The ED is technologically advanced with full EMR and fully integrated PACS system providing you with all the tools to practice state-of-the-art Emergency Medicine. Most specialites are on staff as well as dedicated hospitalists. There are 36 hours of physician coverage and 18 hours of extender coverage facilitating an average patient-per-hour ratio of 1.8 - 2 pph. The 15,000 square foot Emergency Department has 21-beds that have immediate access to operating rooms, a modern and sophisticated medical lab, and the Imaging Department. There is also a 4-bed fast track staffed by a physician extender for less emergent cases.
