Florida - St. Augustine Qualifications: FP Boarded / Fast Track / Hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Full Time Emergency Medicine Hospitalist opportunity at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine beginning September 1, 2009. Flagler is the only hospital in Northeast Florida to be recognized in more than one category. (see www.flaglerhospital.com) Flagler's Emergency Department is impressive and was renovated/expanded less than 3 years ago. It offers and impressive work space with 23 main beds, 10 fast-track beds and seven chest pain beds. The Emergency Department sees approximately 52,000 patients annually. With 42 hours of physician and 36 hours of MLP coverage, the average patient ratio is 1.7 patients per hour. Flagler Hospital, itself, has a full service laboratory for the hospital and surrounding medical community. Necessary and emergency testing is done 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
