We are seeking a board certified Emergency Medicine physician with administrative experience to lead this progressive practice and to provide on-site management of clinical and administrative aspects of the ED. Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center opened their NEW flagship facility for the Florida Hospital-Memorial Division, a 400-bed hospital serving Volusia and Flagler counties, including: Florida Hospital-Flagler, Florida Hospital-Oceanside and Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center. This full-service community hospital has 277 beds and features a modern 53-bed Emergency Department and 8-bed fast track. The Emergency Department has an annual volume of 36,000 with daily coverage facilitating an average patient-per-hour ratio of 2.2. The state-of-the-art ED features computerized medical records, lab, and x-ray tracking with hand-held physician PDF’s with finger-tip data access and wide-screen as well as individual tracking boards. Documentation system also incorporates Cerner and Script-RX.
The System is the first and only JCAHO certified Primary Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center in Volusia and Flagler counties. This is an excellent opportunity to become a part of a new addition to the community of Ormond Beach.
